With a straight eyepiece, the SX-2 Kenai 2 features a 25-60x magnification range and an 80mm HD objective lens that delivers a bright image with exceptional color reproduction and resolution. For those seeking a wider field of view, Leupold offers an optional 30x wide-angle eyepiece, essentially making the Kenai 2 two scopes in one. All external lenses are treated with Leupold's exclusive GuardIon coating which allows water to run off and fingerprints to be removed with ease. Because this coating is applied at the molecular level, it will last for the life of the spotting scope. The eyepieces have twist-up eyecups and non-critical eye relief which provide extra comfort during extended spotting sessions and if the sun is high, the integrated retractable lens shade can be used to reduce glare.
